SISTER is a Christ-centered, biblically-based outreach to women once incarcerated. We understand there are many obstacles upon release and in the years to follow. At SISTER we provide an opportunity to connect with others and discover resources that will help women once incarcerated grow and flourish in their new life in Christ.
We do this by offering a weekly support meeting that provides an opportunity to meet other women and cultivate supportive Christ-centered relationships. Woman regularly participate in a Bible study. We supply information on food, housing and employment opportunities. In addition we are able to meet immediate needs for clothing, make-up and hygiene items, all of which are available free of charge through Our SISTER’s Closet or a resale shop partnered with SISTER.

I have been blessed to have been asked to be on the Board of this wonderful ministry! In looking back over my life and some of the choices I’ve made along the way, I realize that I could have been one of these women in need of the help offered by SISTER Ministries, only back then, there was no such ministry as this available. We serve and are blessed by an awesome God who through His Son’s forgiveness takes broken vessels and makes them whole.
